We are
an informal and open international collective that aims to build connections between marginalised activist experiences within education and community work. We work against the mainstream dynamics of knowledge production and ‘best practices’. We co-produce multilingual educational materials in the forms of videos, articles, cartographies and other creative and collaborative formats to boost online and offline spaces of inspiration and mutual learning for activists around the globe. We are also looking for the connection/breaking points for the activist experiences within the contexts of institutionalised knowledge production.
Our approach
Our workshops and other activities provide a space for collective critical thinking. We believe in building a collective knowledge based on practical experiences, mutual listening and sharing. We aim to develop a collective consciousness about issues, methodologies and approaches that we believe are essential for making a change within the actual practice of community work. We use a feminist methodology that allows us to question the concepts critically, as well as to expose and deconstruct the power dynamics persisting in all areas of society. Our collaborators specialise in working with oppressed groups and use methodologies that work towards different forms of critical and collective knowledge. We draw our path on questions, “asking, we walk”.
